Does the Chocolate Connection Fountain use Real Chocolate?

Yes, we use premium Couverture Belgian Chocolate. Couverture is a kind of chocolate that has more cocoa butter than regular chocolate.

What dipping items can be used with the Fountain?

Some of our most popular dipping items are strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, pretzels, cream puffs, the possibilities are endlesss!

What time will you set up for the event?

We will arrive at your event approximately 1 hour prior to the starting time listed on your contract.

We will take care of setting up the fountain, the chocolate will be melted and flowing as your guests arrive so they will enjoy the exquisite aroma as they enter. So. set-up, tear down and clean up is included in our rental package.

Can the Chocolate Fountain be used outdoors?

The Chocolate Connection Chocolate Fountain must be set up indoors. You don't want flying creatures in your chocolate, do you? (They love chocolate too!)

Where the fountain is placed is very important so it won't be affected by air movement, like air conditioning or heaters. The fountain is a tempering heating unit; as long as it's not in a draft, it will maintain its temperature so the chocolate will not harden.

How long can I have the fountain at my event?

Rentals are for 2 1/2 hours. Additional time may be purchased at ( $25 per Half Hour)

How Many People will the Chocolate Fountain Serve?

Chocolate Fountains are designed so that they can be replenished with chocolate at any time during the event, which means it can be used to feed limitless amounts of people.

It is recommended that the medium fountain be used for events of up to 250 people.

Our package provides 25 pounds of chocolate, at most receptions this will be more than enough, however, for events that require more chocolate, we offer you the ability to purchase additional chocolate in 10 pound increments at the price of $40.

What are the Table and Electrical requirements?

The table must be very sturdy (must hold 150 lbs) and level for the fountain to operate properly.. The Chocolate Connection Fountain requires a grounded, 120 volt electrical outlet with 15 amps within 10 feet of where the fountain will be located.

Do you require a reservation and deposit?

Yes, we require a $200.00 non-refundable deposit upon receiving your signed contract.

The remaining balance is owed 30 days prior to the event.

We book two years in advance.

Our fountain displays can be designed to fit the theme and /or color of your particular event.
